Movement Medalist? Yes you can..

GO FOR THE GOLD!

During our beginning of the school year inservice at HHS, the Movement Medal Ceremony will occur.  The audience will include ALL of HCS employees, our board of education members and several community members. Employees who have achieved the status of Movement Medalist will be called to the stage and honored. The requirements for earning a Movement Medal are simple!

Between August 2015 and our Movement Medal Ceremony at the start of the 2016-'17 school year, complete or volunteer at the We Love Homewood 5K and four other events. The events can include any race or organized event you choose and/or the following Movement sponsored programs:

1.  Walktober

2.  One Mile Run Streak

3.  March Madness

Patriot Point Trophy Update

Each week your team can earn up to 24 points on The Big Scoreboard.  

We have one month remaining in the competition.  Do the math, you and your team can still make a big push to WIN this year's championship.  Two more BONUS rounds occur thanks to  We Love Homewood 5K.  Your team can earn 5 Big Scoreboard points for having the highest percentage of employees and an additional 5 Big Scoreboard points for having the highest percentage of student participation!  The scoreboard could be completely turned upside down with participation in the We Love Homewood 5K!  

• Will Hall Kent make an effort to win the PPC Trophy with bragging rights for this season?  

• Will SCES, HBOE or HHS take the trophy for another season having won in the past?  

• Will Edgewood, who continues to be in the hunt, make a push for the title?  

• Will HMS who started the year on FIRE finish with a victory?  

The trophy is up for grabs... Make your move!
