Status update from Lisa Thomas and Grace Ann:

-I had a very proud moment when Grace Ann looked at me during the 5K Scamper and said, "Thanks, Mom! This is a great way to start a day. Thanks for not bailing. I know Elliot's stroller is heavy. You're doing great. We'll finish because Team Thomas doesn't quit...ever (insert the fist pump that she gave)!"

This is what  The Movement is about.  People encouraging people to develop a healthy lifestyle.  A culture change within our community to support each other in wellness.  Lisa T. got a little encouragement from her daughter, Grace Ann, during the Spirit Scamper. Grace Ann "gets it".  Sometimes we as adults get so busy with life, we forget to take care of ourselves and each other.   We tend to fail in the development of healthy lifestyles b/c we don't fight this thing together.  The Movement, offers HCS employees, students, parents and community a chance to be healthy individually and encourage interaction among all stakeholders.  Those of you who crossed the finish line at the Spirit Scamper, should have celebrated!!!!!!!!!! But, if you will notice, that finish line was pointed in the direction of the starting line.  The Movement never stops, get back to the starting line and keep Moving to your next finish.
