PATRIOT POINT CHALLENGE- Season 5 has begun. Starting Monday, August 25th every employee is battling to win points for their team. 30 minutes of exercise=1 point, a group exercise class = 2 points, a 5K = 3 points etc. Tally those points weekly and wait for the Blog update to post. You will get the hyperlink to the blog and the post button will be "live" on the first workday of the week starting next week, September 3rd. The competition is FIERCE. The Owls are the reigning champs and are holding on to that trophy until someone proves they are willing to do the hard work for the hardware. Check out their intimidating photo, proving they are serious about winning. They've even created their own hashtag!

A TEAM- Looking for an afternoon cross-training group? The A Team is recruiting members.
- Only 15 spots available for this fitness class
- Two training sessions per week
- Workouts no longer than 30 minutes in length
- Accountability of a team workout while individually challenging you to succeed
- Sign up for the semester for $50
ZUMBA- The voting was close but Edgewood Elementary edged out the other schools for the right to be the Zumba site.
YOU MUST EMAIL nspurlock@homewood.k12.al.us to reserve your spot and allow us to prepare the appropriate amount of Zumba space!!!!!
- First class is Wednesday, September 10th-4pm at EES
- Payment of $50- I will collect from the front office of each school on Friday, September 5th. If you need more time, just include that info in your rsvp email.
